 rom the Céide Fields Visitor Centre and follows the coastal route towards
  Ballycastle along the spectacular Céide Cliffs to the bottom of Ballycas
 tle village. It will follow the half marathon route\, taking the beach roa
 d where two right turns will connect you with the half marathon runners\, 
 finishing at Ballycastle Community Hall where a warm welcome and refreshme
 nts will await you. HALF MARATHON ROUTE The Half Marathon route will comme
 nce at the spectacular Céide Fields Visitor Centre and will follow the co
 ast road\, passing Ballycastle Beach before proceeding to the famous Downp
 atrick Head. The race will enter the headland where the runners will get a
  chance to run 500m off-road (grass)\, and an opportunity to view the spec
 tacular Dún Briste Sea Stack (weather dependent). From there\, the race w
 ill return to the main road and will finish in the idyllic village of Ball
 ycastle\, where a warm welcome and refreshments will await you in the Comm
 unity Hall.
