 eitzone.\n\n2026-09-19 12:00\n\n10K ROUTE The 10k departs from the Céide 
 Fields Visitor Centre and follows the coastal route towards Ballycastle al
 ong the spectacular Céide Cliffs to the bottom of Ballycastle village. It
  will follow the half marathon route\, taking the beach road where two rig
 ht turns will connect you with the half marathon runners\, finishing at Ba
 llycastle Community Hall where a warm welcome and refreshments will await 
 you. HALF MARATHON ROUTE The Half Marathon route will commence at the spec
 tacular Céide Fields Visitor Centre and will follow the coast road\, pass
 ing Ballycastle Beach before proceeding to the famous Downpatrick Head. Th
 e race will enter the headland where the runners will get a chance to run 
 500m off-road (grass)\, and an opportunity to view the spectacular Dún Br
 iste Sea Stack (weather dependent). From there\, the race will return to t
 he main road and will finish in the idyllic village of Ballycastle\, where
  a warm welcome and refreshments will await you in the Community Hall.
