 09-19 12:00\n\n10K ROUTE The 10k departs from the Céide Fields Visitor Ce
 ntre and follows the coastal route towards Ballycastle along the spectacul
 ar Céide Cliffs to the bottom of Ballycastle village. It will follow the 
 half marathon route\, taking the beach road where two right turns will con
 nect you with the half marathon runners\, finishing at Ballycastle Communi
 ty Hall where a warm welcome and refreshments will await you. HALF MARATHO
 N ROUTE The Half Marathon route will commence at the spectacular Céide Fi
 elds Visitor Centre and will follow the coast road\, passing Ballycastle B
 each before proceeding to the famous Downpatrick Head. The race will enter
  the headland where the runners will get a chance to run 500m off-road (gr
 ass)\, and an opportunity to view the spectacular Dún Briste Sea Stack (w
 eather dependent). From there\, the race will return to the main road and 
 will finish in the idyllic village of Ballycastle\, where a warm welcome a
 nd refreshments will await you in the Community Hall.
