 ields Visitor Centre and follows the coastal route towards Ballycastle alo
 ng the spectacular Céide Cliffs to the bottom of Ballycastle village. It 
 will follow the half marathon route\, taking the beach road where two righ
 t turns will connect you with the half marathon runners\, finishing at Bal
 lycastle Community Hall where a warm welcome and refreshments will await y
 ou. HALF MARATHON ROUTE The Half Marathon route will commence at the spect
 acular Céide Fields Visitor Centre and will follow the coast road\, passi
 ng Ballycastle Beach before proceeding to the famous Downpatrick Head. The
  race will enter the headland where the runners will get a chance to run 5
 00m off-road (grass)\, and an opportunity to view the spectacular Dún Bri
 ste Sea Stack (weather dependent). From there\, the race will return to th
 e main road and will finish in the idyllic village of Ballycastle\, where 
 a warm welcome and refreshments will await you in the Community Hall.
