 he Céide Fields Visitor Centre and follows the coastal route towards Ball
 ycastle along the spectacular Céide Cliffs to the bottom of Ballycastle v
 illage. It will follow the half marathon route\, taking the beach road whe
 re two right turns will connect you with the half marathon runners\, finis
 hing at Ballycastle Community Hall where a warm welcome and refreshments w
 ill await you. HALF MARATHON ROUTE The Half Marathon route will commence a
 t the spectacular Céide Fields Visitor Centre and will follow the coast r
 oad\, passing Ballycastle Beach before proceeding to the famous Downpatric
 k Head. The race will enter the headland where the runners will get a chan
 ce to run 500m off-road (grass)\, and an opportunity to view the spectacul
 ar Dún Briste Sea Stack (weather dependent). From there\, the race will r
 eturn to the main road and will finish in the idyllic village of Ballycast
 le\, where a warm welcome and refreshments will await you in the Community
  Hall.
