 Céide Fields Visitor Centre and follows the coastal route towards Ballyca
 stle along the spectacular Céide Cliffs to the bottom of Ballycastle vill
 age. It will follow the half marathon route\, taking the beach road where 
 two right turns will connect you with the half marathon runners\, finishin
 g at Ballycastle Community Hall where a warm welcome and refreshments will
  await you. HALF MARATHON ROUTE The Half Marathon route will commence at t
 he spectacular Céide Fields Visitor Centre and will follow the coast road
 \, passing Ballycastle Beach before proceeding to the famous Downpatrick H
 ead. The race will enter the headland where the runners will get a chance 
 to run 500m off-road (grass)\, and an opportunity to view the spectacular 
 Dún Briste Sea Stack (weather dependent). From there\, the race will retu
 rn to the main road and will finish in the idyllic village of Ballycastle\
 , where a warm welcome and refreshments will await you in the Community Ha
 ll.
