 -19 12:00\n\n10K ROUTE The 10k departs from the Céide Fields Visitor Cent
 re and follows the coastal route towards Ballycastle along the spectacular
  Céide Cliffs to the bottom of Ballycastle village. It will follow the ha
 lf marathon route\, taking the beach road where two right turns will conne
 ct you with the half marathon runners\, finishing at Ballycastle Community
  Hall where a warm welcome and refreshments will await you. HALF MARATHON 
 ROUTE The Half Marathon route will commence at the spectacular Céide Fiel
 ds Visitor Centre and will follow the coast road\, passing Ballycastle Bea
 ch before proceeding to the famous Downpatrick Head. The race will enter t
 he headland where the runners will get a chance to run 500m off-road (gras
 s)\, and an opportunity to view the spectacular Dún Briste Sea Stack (wea
 ther dependent). From there\, the race will return to the main road and wi
 ll finish in the idyllic village of Ballycastle\, where a warm welcome and
  refreshments will await you in the Community Hall.
